What kind of kayak to rent for a kayaking trip in Poland?

Kayak rentals in Poland and kayaking equipment.

Don't know which kayak to rent for your kayaking trip? No problem... Call us or write - and we will help you to choose the right equipment for your skills and planned route. This is quite an important element while planning a kayaking trip because instead of taking pleasure from kayaking we can struggle with keeping the kayak steering. When does it happen? It may result from overloading the bow part of the kayak with luggage, incorrectly placed luggage in the kayak, incorrectly set seats if they are adjustable or simply a bad paddling technique. It is also worth remembering that the short and bulky kayak flows much worse on flat open water such as a lake or a larger river than the narrow and long kayak. Short kayaks much better perform on small narrow and winding rivers also with more obstacles. Long and narrow kayak works better on water bodies when we want to flow faster and there are not so many obstacles on the river. With single-person kayaks it's similar, but here it's worth to mention "rapids" kayaks which are perfect for our Polish rivers with lots of fallen trees. Thanks to their technical parameters you can easily overcome obstacles without leaving the kayak. However, it is worth remembering that before renting such equipment you should try your hand in such a kayak in a safe place under the supervision of a professional before you take it to the start of your kayaking trip far from the kayaking base, because it may quickly turn out that it is too tippy for you. If ever we have doubts as to which kayak to book in the rental it's worth asking a professional who will help in making the right choice. More information about technical parameters of two-person and single kayaks can be found under here. Below you will find photo gallery of the most popular kayak among polish paddlers (Perception Vista two-person kayak). Ideally suited for kayak tour on Rega River.
