Unforgettable and wild kayak trips in Poland

River Rega - the most beautiful kayaking route in Pomerania

One of the most popular rivers among paddlers in northern Poland is the Rega River. It is the fourth longest river in Poland (after Wisla, Odra and Pasłęka), which flows directly into the Baltic Sea, which makes it very attractive for kayakers. Its picturesqueness, richness of landscape and natural values, as well as architectural monuments in towns located on the Rega River, emphasize the charm of the river. The Rega route is considered easy, but at times quite burdensome, especially in its upper and middle reaches, due to fallen trees across the riverbed and relocation. The Rega route starts in the forests near the village of Bronowo and after 168 km it goes to the sea in the picturesque Mrzezyno. Rega rarely flows through larger forest complexes, however, its banks are overgrown with clumps of shrubs and trees over a considerable length, creating a fairytale character of the river. In the Rega river you can meet many species of fish, and the presence of sea trout and salmon is proof of the high purity of these waters. More of the best kayaking routes in Poland can be found here
