Good quality polyethylene and solid construction of the kayak allows to overcome very difficult kayak routes, where there are a lot of so called "zwalki". (fallen trees in the riverbed). The Fiji Balou has quite good nautical qualities as for this class of kayaks. It is very agile, easy to steer between obstacles and quite stable. The seats in Fiji Balou can be tilted forward, which makes it easy to put the luggage in the stern section. Both in the stern and bow sections, as well as between the seats, there is plenty of room to place luggage for a few days trip. The seat itself is quite comfortable. It has a special hole / grip for a drink and a hole to drain water from the seat, so that we are not sitting in water, which could pour in, for example from a paddle. Very comfortable handles, low weight of the kayak and sleek design gives great satisfaction of paddling this kayak on challenging kayak routes.
