Frequently asked questions
1. What should I take with me for a kayaking?
You have to take the kayaking trip first of all:
- comfortable sports clothing that dries quickly (preferably made of synthetic material)
- Comfortable shoes that hold well on our leg (the so-called flip flops - they fall off!)
- headgear (as protection from the sun)
- drinking water
- provisions (bars, fruit, etc.)
- protective filter cream
- sunglasses
- mosquito liquid
- cash money
- waterproof phone case for documents
- Waterproof sack/bag for personal items
- raincoat cloak
- a set of dry clothes to disguise in case of soaking
- trash sack as an additional protection of clothing
- your own mini first aid kit
- swimsuit
2. Can small children take part in the kayaking?
Yes, absolutely. We have special child safety and life jackets according to the size of the child. In addition, our Perception Vista kayaks have special children's extras (seats), thanks to which 2 adults and a child can flow in one kayak.
3. How to dress up for a rafting trip?
For kayaking it is best to wear comfortable sportswear made of synthetic materials that drain water and dry quickly. Even if we wet such clothing should not cool us down as much as cotton. Shoes should also be comfortable and tightly fitting to our leg to enable safe movement on wet stones or trees. Depending on the route you take, clothing should be carefully selected. If you will be on the route for a long time in the sun, it is necessary to have a headgear and to use a cream with a protective filter. If you are going on a route with a lot of obstacles (fallen trees) it is worth to take your clothes with you in case of falling into water, as well as an appropriate amount of lunch and water to drink. No matter what route you take, it is worth having additional equipment with you, which will protect you from rain. More information about what to take with you on the kayak can be found in the questions above.
